This circle stands amongst rolling hills of farmland and houses. Off to one side is a sacred pool and cooking facility with a fire pit. Some believe this was utilized during gatherings and rituals. It was quite apparent that a rather large area had been lined in flagstone. The info given on a story board said that this "pit" would be lined with animal hides, water and hot stones from a fire near by would have been placed into the pit, making it a large cooking pot. The hot stones would heat the water rapidly and stay hot for hours, thereby cooking the food.
