View from Drombeg Circle
This circle looks southwest towards the ocean. There were remains of 2 connected living areas on the other side of the circle, making this site quite unusual. It was quiet and peaceful as we were the only ones there. Tourism is down in Ireland so many places we visited, we were by ourselves... only a few places like the famous Newgrange were slightly crowded and even this star attraction was pleasant in terms of people. The weather was amazingly warm and no rain for our entire trip through Ireland. Everyone remarked at how unusual this was....we could not have asked for better conditions. The light was crisp, bright and clear. It stayed light until at least 10:30 PM each night.

The Irish people all thanked us for bringing the good weather with us. One day it sprinkled a few drops when we were up in the Burren...and one other day when we were at the Trim Castle I felt a few drops of rain on my arms when we were on the roof...but, that was it.
