Step Back in Time

This is Doolin...the home of the best Irish music in Ireland. We have been here for two days at Susan's B and B. She is a warm welcoming woman with her fantastic dog, George. Everytime we come back she is always there with coffee, tea or whatever else we may have wanted. Our Irish breakfast yesterday could have fed an entire family. We sat at the breakfast table with a couple from Germany who is in this area to bike all around. There is a giant bicycle rally being held here and we have seen various people motoring around. This is one of the shops in Doolins on the way to the pub. Our B and B is just a short walk down the hill to the middle of town. This is the first place we have encountered many tourists. The recession has hit Ireland hard and not many people are traveling this year.
