Here we are waiting for our ship to take us to the Cliffs of Mohr. While we were sitting along the wall, I see this nice gentleman come by with this beautiful Portuguese Water Dog. So, I just had to stop him and talk to him about this handsome beast. The dog's name is Barney and he is a rescue. The man told us that his wife and son were also going to be taking the cruise...so when they showed up we became fast friends. Their son, John, was about 5 years old, and a bundle of energy. Peggy played with John and I played with Barney. Barney didn't like the cruise too much and was VERY glad to get back to dry land. We continue to meet the nicest people with the coolest dogs. The Irish love their dogs.
