We decided to take a boat cruise to the Cliffs of Mohr instead of walking around on top of them. That was certainly the right choice. The ship took us very close to this separate rock formation and we were able to see all the puffins roosting on the crags and cracks. They then took us close to the Cliffs and we bobbed and floated around until the tide pushed us back out. It was a wonderful cruise. We met the most delightful Irish family on the dock while we were waiting for boat that turned out to be an hour late. The family was from the Midlands and they had a 5 year old boy named John and a beautiful dog named Barney. What a pleasure it was to get to know them. This trip has been full of people like that.
