We drove and drove all day yesterday to get up the West Coast of Ireland to Doolin. We are staying here two days so we can listen to the Irish music in the pubs. This small tiny fishing village is renowned for its music and from what we heard last nite there is good reason for that. We pulled into Susan's B and B around 6:30PM last nite after a long day in the car...and here was this friendly face to greet us. His name is George and he is certainly full of himself. He showed us to our room and came out on the patio while we sipped our drinks. We then hiked down the hill to O'Connor's Pub for dinner and music. We staggered home around 10:30 and were asleep before our heads hit the pillow. Being on vacay is alot of work.

Margaret and Judy,
ReplyDeleteI am so envious. Love that Irish music!! Do a little dance for me and make sure you have some cider.
