These are the two cute dogs we met on the way up the mountain. A farm woman was walking ahead of us with these two little boys...and she veered off a few yards ahead of us into a field. She was moving her cows to another pasture and these dogs were to come with her. The little Jack Russell named Marty, was not up for her program...he wanted to hang back with us and another couple who were as crazy as we were....because they were headed up this mountain too. She kept calling him and he kept hanging back with us...upon closer inspection you could see that he had his cookie in his mouth and he wanted to keep showing that to us. In retrospect I think he was trying to tell me to turn back while I had the chance...haha. But we made it up the mountain...it was just slow going.
