Fishguard Houses

The houses here are all built right next to each other and often connected. Lots of them are painted bright colors...pink, blue and purple. The small gardens out front are nicely tended with many plants that I haven't seen in the states. We have had contact with a few of the locals...in fact, one woman with a dog stopped to chat with us and of course I had to pet the dog. She owns the local Fish and Chip shop on the corner right down the street. There are lots of bed and breakfast places in Fishguard because the ferry docks here and tourists come and spend the nite when they are traveling to and from Ireland. All the signs are in Gaelic first and then in English.
