Feeding the Lambs
These are the lambs at O'Leary's farm. Phil (short for Philomena) asked us if we wanted to help her feed them and we said SURE. So we trekked out to the field where some of the sheep were and she called 5 lambs...one of them was named squeaky. They were rescue lambs from somewhere and she was bottle feeding them twice a day. Gabriel her husband brought Lucky, the sheep dog in training, out to the field to get him some work. Lucky is only a year old and they are training him to move the sheep. On our way back from that field we met up with Jack, the donkey and Polly, the pony...so Peggy got her apples and fed both of them. We had a great time doing that. Afterwards we got cleaned up and went down the coast to the Lobster Pot for dinner. That was the best Irish food of the whole trip. We came back from dinner and took a stroll on the beach right on the edge of the farm. Couldn't have been a better evening. Our room in the farm house was on the 2nd floor overlooking the sea. WOW...what a nite.
