Driving in Ireland

Driving in Ireland is a terrifying experience. As you can see...there is no shoulder but a sheer stone wall...and you can see the roads are very narrow. This was taken when we were on the last lap of the Ring of Beara on the Beara penisula...Peggy just had to get out and take a picture. You never knew when you came to a blind corner whether someone would be flying around the other side right in your lane...many times there would be another car coming straight for us...or a big honking tour bus. Poor Peggy was terrified...and so was I...
