This big dog is owned by the man who tends the ancient Abbey on Clare Island. he came on top of the hill. Within a few moments a walking tour showed up and this woman had this little Jack Russell on a leash. That was way too much for the Abbey dog and he just had to come over and sniff around. They became friends immediately although the Jack couldn't run and play with the other dog. That Abbey dog hung around for the longest time and then took off and darted through a tiny hole in the hedge...sort of reminding me of Alice in Wonderland.

Dogs Meet on Clare Island
This big dog is owned by the man who tends the ancient Abbey on Clare Island. he came on top of the hill. Within a few moments a walking tour showed up and this woman had this little Jack Russell on a leash. That was way too much for the Abbey dog and he just had to come over and sniff around. They became friends immediately although the Jack couldn't run and play with the other dog.
