We made it onto the ship after about 45 minutes in the waiting room at Pier 12 in Brooklyn. We had a wonderful car ride over from Manhattan...and we spotted the Queen once we got onto the Brooklyn Bridge. She is just HUGE...bigger than she looks. We got into our cabin, unpacked and went exploring. We got our internet minutes, went to the sail away party on deck 13 and went to dinner. That was yummy. Our table mates are a charming couple from Sydney, Australia...they have traveled all over the world and gave us good tips for Ireland. We are off to the spa...and then to the Planetarium. There is plenty to do on board this ship...more to follow.
