If you take a look at the bottom right hand corner of the map, you can see the town of Wexford. This is near where our Ferry lands after we cross the Irish Sea. We will travel from Wexford through Waterford and Cork on the way to the West Coast to tour the Beara Penninsula. After that we will head straight up the West Coast through Limerick and the Burren to Doolin right on the coast near the Aran Islands. We then head up through Galway on our way to Conemara where we hope to see some sheep dog demonstrations.
Then we take the Northern route to Clifden and Sligo. There are two large ancient grave sites in this area that Peggy wants to see. After that we head South East towards Newgrange. The tomb at Newgrange pre-dates Stonehenge and both of us are anxious to spend some time in this area. At this point we will be close to Dublin and we will then head back down the middle of Ireland to catch the Ferry again to go back to Wales.
